Morden Tuition Centre (MTC)
These Terms and Conditions govern the professional conduct and responsibilities of tutors engaged with Morden Tuition Centre (MTC). By registering as a tutor with MTC, you agree to the following:
1.1. Tutors must maintain a professional relationship with all students and parents at all times.
1.2. Under no circumstances should tutors exchange personal contact information (e.g., phone number, email address, social media handles) with students or parents.
1.3. Any attempt to bypass MTC and engage in direct communication or private arrangements with students or parents is a serious breach of safeguarding policy and may result in immediate termination and strict legal action.
1.4. Tutors must report any safeguarding concerns immediately to the Centre Manager or Designated Safeguarding Lead.
2.1. Tutors are expected to arrive on time for all scheduled sessions and maintain consistent attendance.
2.2. Holidays must be booked at least four (4) weeks in advance in writing and are subject to approval by MTC management.
2.3. In the case of illness or emergency, tutors must notify MTC as early as possible before the scheduled session so that arrangements can be made to cover the class.
2.4. Repeated absences or failure to follow proper notification procedures may affect future teaching opportunities at MTC.
3.1. Tutors must treat all student information, academic records, and internal MTC communications as strictly confidential.
3.2. Tutors must not discuss student progress or behaviour with anyone outside of the MTC team, unless specifically authorised.
4.1. References will only be provided to tutors who have worked with MTC for a minimum period of six (6) months.
4.2. MTC reserves the right to decline reference requests at its discretion, particularly in cases of incomplete service or policy breaches.
5.1. Tutors are expected to familiarise themselves with and adhere to all MTC policies, including those relating to safeguarding, data protection, health and safety, and classroom behaviour.
5.2. MTC reserves the right to review, amend, or update these Terms and Conditions at any time.
By signing this agreement, the tutor confirms they have read, understood, and agree to abide by these Terms and Conditions while working with Morden Tuition Centre.
